Health Literacy Collaborative Summit

As a USHLA member, you’ll unlock discounted registration rates for the 2026 Health Literacy Collaborative Summit (HLCS) — a health literacy event that’s shaped and supported by our community. Many of our executive board and fellow members help plan, present at, and attend the conference, making it a true reflection of collective health literacy expertise and passion in the US. Your membership doesn’t just get you a lower rate — it connects you to the people driving the conversation forward.

More about the Summit

The Health Literacy Collaborative is not a standing group or organization. It’s the name of the event, the Health Literacy Collaborative Summit. The Summit brings together people from many organizations across several states who share a common interest in health literacy. Wisconsin Health Literacy first convened the group to support the planning of their in-person Wisconsin Health Literacy Summit in 2024. The group is now continuing planning to host another Summit in 2026.

The planning committee, made up of representatives from the following states, each play an active role in shaping and coordinating the Summit.

  • Texas (2026 Summit host)

  • Arkansas

  • Delaware

  • Missouri

  • Minnesota

  •  Ohio

  • Wisconsin

While the Summit provides a space for networking and sharing, it isn’t a formal group outside of the Summit itself.
