Corinne Hajjar Nicodemo

Corinne serves as a patient education specialist at the University of California San Diego Health. She is a registered nurse that has her master’s degree in nursing education and post-master’s certification as an Adult Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist. Corinne's experience spans both coasts of the United States, working as a medical-surgical telemetry float pool nurse and in healthcare quality. She is passionate about improving processes to provide the best patient education possible while using practices of plain language, health literacy, and health communication. Corinne’s interest in the synergy between the arts and humanities has led her a passion for organizational health literacy.
